How facts are chosen

1. New studies are collected every week from PubMed, across the specialties we cover.
2. An AI model compares them and shortlists the most surprising findings, then drafts a short summary using only the published abstract.
3. A physician reads every draft against the original abstract, edits it, and decides whether it is published. Most studies never make it.
4. Every fact links to the original paper, so you can always check the evidence yourself.

Who is behind it

DocTrivia is made by Dr. Alexandru-George Ionescu, a dentist and practice owner based in Romania. It started from a simple observation: the most memorable things in medicine are often buried in papers few of us have time to read.
